about

NOTHING I EVER DO. (is ever good enough for you)

Mmm. Yeah. Well. I know I said "Learn to Swim" was complex but that was when when we were trying to stay together and then, we fell apart, and then I wrote this. The odd time signature comes to play again but this time I have used it to highlight the tension and anger. Mick Hart's guitar solo is bloody awesome! You can almost taste the grit. Once again, Dave and Matt were more than solid, If you want to Wikipedia "Rock Solid Rhythm" their faces come up.

lyrics

Keep this looking in
Something’s got to give
Maybe it’s my heart
Maybe it’s my state of mind
Searching for a place
Where I can unwind
Somewhere where the land
Isn’t fighting with the sky

Nothing I ever do is ever good enough for you
Nothing I ever do
Nothing I ever do is ever good enough for you
NOTHING I EVER DO

There you go again
Banging off your mouth
Shoot me down in flames
When I have a go and try
Know you ‘re in the wrong
So say all your friends
Everything you take
All you touch you break is mine Mine, mine, mine.

Chorus

Lie, Lie Lie.
